Island Computers & Training partners with SAGE Ireland as its perferred Training partner in Cork & Kerry

Island Computers & Training have recently been approved by Sage Ireland as there perferred training partner in the popular Sage Accounts Software. Island & Sage have partnered in providing certified training courses in their accounts & payroll software Sage Line 50 series & Sage Quickpay. Island provide training in all versions of the software and is an approved SAGE testing centre allowing clients to certify their skills to a recognise level.

Island Computers Cork & Kerry awarded ADOBE testing centre

Island Computers & Training Cork, were recently awarded the licence to provide testing in Adobe's range of desktop applications including the Macromedia Suite which is now a part of the Adobe Creative Suite. Adobe purchased Macromedia late 2006 and have merged the popular Flash & Dreamweaver along with adobe's own Photoshop and Illustrator in what they have called " Adobe Creative Suite" CS for short.

The testing is currently only available on the PC platform so Apple Mac users will have to wait a few months until the Mac version of the testing system is developed.
Adobe creative suite is available to purchase online from www.adobe.ie or your local computer provider. Testing is available at both New Street, Killarney, Kerry & Cork. Courses available both as Night classes & Day Time Training.

Island Computers & Training Cork & Kerry is Munster's "Learning Partner" for Microsoft Applications awarded by Microsoft & Prodigy. This Quality Mark assures clients that training carried out by Island Training is to the highest standard available in their Microsoft range of desktop applications.

Microsoft have just launched their Microsoft Certified Application Specialist " MCAS" in April 2008 and Island Computers & Training have secured the licence to provide training and testing in this new programme by Microsoft. The MCAS programme is very similar to the popular MOUS or MOS certification which is still available in Office 2000, 2003 & XP editions. Island Partners with "Gaeltachtaí na Mumhan" Skillsnet to provide IT training to local business groups

The Gaeltachtaí na Mumhan Skillnet Training Initiative was officially launched by Ceann Comhairle John O Donoghue, TD, at an event in the Dingle Skellig Hotel as part of the 14th annual Féile na Bealtaine in the West Kerry area. Comharchumann Forbartha Chorca Dhuibhne (CFCD), the Gaeltacht-based development co-operative based in Baile an Fheirtéaraigh, Daingean Uí Chúis, Co Kerry, are acting as network promoter for the Gaeltachtaí na Mumhan Skillnet, funded by Skillnets, the enterprise-led support body.

Gaeltachtaí na Mumhan Skillnet have partnered with local IT Training company Island Computers & Training. Killarney, Macroom & Cork City as their principle training provider. Island Training will deliver a wide range of courses in both IT & Softskills to their growing member list.
